Crowstone Preparatory School is
a non-selective Independent Day School for boys and girls from the
age of 2½ to 11. Places are therefore offered to applicatants on a
first come, first served basis as and when spaces are available but
is dependent upon the suitablity of potential students to integrate
into our School environment. The School reserves the right to refuse
admission.
Preference is given to children of staff, siblings of
current pupils and children of ex-pupils. Where places are not immediately available the
application will join a waiting list in the order the application is
received.
This policy applies to the whole School, including Early Years. |

- Contact the School Office on 01702 346758
to arrange an appointment to view the School and meet the
Headmaster. You will be shown around and have the opportunity
to meet children and staff. This initial visit is without
obligation or charge. You may bring your children and we welcome
them if you do. Indeed it is sometimes beneficial for you to see
your child(ren) reacting to the environment you are considering
for their education. It is during this visit that you, the
parents, are invited to discuss any special requirements your
child may have and for both parties to ascertain whether the
School will be able to provide for this need.
- Complete and return the
Registration
Form together with a
cheque for a non-refundable Registration Fee of
£50.00.
- Upon completion of the registration process your child will
be invited to attend a “Taster Day” where they will spend some
time in their prospective class with their peers and meet their
teacher. The cost of the taster day is covered by your
registration fee.
- Subject to a successful visit and where places are available
the Headmaster will offer, in writing, a place to your child and we will
make the final arrangements for admission.
- Once a place has been confirmed your child's details will be
entered onto the School's Admissions Register prior to the start
of their first day of school. It is a legal requirement that the
School hold and maintain up to date information as entered on
the Registration Form once admission has been accepted.

The School does not discriminate on any grounds. Our policies and
procedures, aims, objectives, hopes and aspirations for each child
are applied equally to all; irrespective of ethnicity, culture,
language, religion, sexual orientation, gender or disabilities. We
do however concede that the limitations of our building restrict our
ability to fully apply the last principle where, without full
mobility, movement around the building may be difficult. |
