On Thursday 15th September we celebrated Roald Dhal
week with an interhouse quiz on some of Roald Dhal's more famous
children's books. The children's knowledge of the stories was
astounding and all four houses scored very highly. Saturn and Apollo
tied in first place and even after a further tie-breaker round,
honours were even!! "Miss Trunchbull" presided over the event and
was a strict question mistress! Many of the children dressed in the
costume of their favourite character for the day and some of the
weeks Literacy lessons focused on Roald Dahl's work. A good time was
had by all!!
